Around Glencoe

On our way to Harris and Lewis, we stopped at some of the micro-lodges in Kinlochleven to get our heads down (it's a long journey from Bucks!). Making the most of things, we took a jaunt around Loch Leven, Loch Linnhe and Castle Stalker before retiring.

On the outskirts of Rannoch Moor we noticed a large boulder with a tree growing out of it. It made for a nice bit of interest in front of the hills beyond

The light around Loch Leven was beautiful

We travelled further south to Castle Stalker for an enjoyable sunset. I did like the way a lone sailboat was backlit by the setting sun

The next morning, we travelled along to Eilean Donan castle, arriving well before sunrise. This was taken before the sun came up. The water was so calm
