I took a trip out early to Ivinghoe Beacon to see what I could see. I found nothing short of pea soup! Another photographer looked on from the top of one of the smaller mounds, surrounded by the opaque white, probably having little luck.
I started heading up towards the spine of Ivinghoe along the footpath and the higher I got, the clearer things became. Eventually, nearer the top I lifted out and almost had inverted clouds! (I wish). Anyway, once Mr Sun made an appearance I managed to get this. hope you like it!
Once the sun was fully up, the mist started to burn away
and left this golden view of the trees across the valley.
Finally, I rewarded myself with a slap-up Brownlow Breakfast from the Brownlow
Cafe at the National Trust Ashridge Estate, which I can heartily recommend
